Although fall colors are starting to wane, it is still a beautiful season
There is nothing so rare in southwestern Minnesota as a windless day; one that is so still it leaves the lake with a mirrored surface. Couple that with an autumn day so gorgeous with a blue, cloudless sky teamed with plenty of sunshine, warm temperatures – and – even though they are beginning to wane, a bounty of colors.
And, with grace and a prevailing weather system that stays around another day, tomorrow should be a replication.
Although you will not be able to hear the sounds and sniff the scents accompanying the following photographs of THE Mountain Lake, you will still be able to soak in autumn’s sights, proving once again that beauty can be found all around – you just gotta slow down and look.
