Funeral service for Shirley Louise (Gladis) Kaehler, 74, of Butterfield, Minnesota, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday morning, August 7, 2014, at the First Lutheran Church in Butterfield. The church is located at 450 Second Street South.
Interment will be in Butterfield City Cemetery, located 1/2 miles south of Butterfield on Watonwan County Road #5, south of Minnesota State Highway #60.
A reception will be held at the church following the service at the cemetery.
Reverend Lowell Asplund will serve as officiant.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 6, 2014, at Sturm Funeral Home-St. James, located at 906 10th Avenue South in St. James, Minnesota. A second visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the start of the service.
Shirley Kaehler passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2014, in Butterfield. She was born on Thursday, May 23, 1940.
