12th annual Mountain Lake Area Chamber of Commerce golf outing is slated
The Mountain Lake Area Chamber of Commerce has slated its 12th annual golf outing for Wednesday, August 20, with a 10 a.m. (sharp!) tee-off at the Mountain Lake Golf Course. Registration begins at 9 a.m. The outing will feature teams of four, sponsored by local businesses, playing 18 holes, with best ball rules applying.
Team fees are $100 per team (including mulligan’s) for Chamber members and $115 per team for Non-Chamber members. Golf carts are not included; if you need a cart, contact the golf club to reserve a vehicle. A noon meal is included for golf team members, or for at a $6 cost for non-golfers.
A variety of door prizes will be given away.
Fun events will include –
* “Buy a Putt” – a 5′ string for $5.
* Shoot a Hole-in-One on #7 during the First Round and win a golf cart; sponsored by Southwest Yamaha Golf Carts.
* Closest to the Pin on #4 wins a walk-behind push lawn mower; sponsored by Midway Farm Equipment.
