THE MOUNTAIN LAKE Christian (MLC) Junior High Knowledge Bowl team has competed in two meets so far this new season. They opened up with the Mountain Lake Public School Junior High K-Bowl meet on Monday, October 16, where they finished in third place. They competed Monday, October 23 at Murray County Central, sporting a pair of teams finishing and 6th place and 10th place out of 44 teams. MLC began Junior High K-Bowl competition part-way through last year, and were set to go as this season kicked off. Team members include Eli Johnson, Meghan Johnson, Lydia Cavanaugh, Abi Renteria-Rojas, Jordan Linschied, Evan Oltmans and Luke Klassen. Team coaches are Karen Stoesz and Emily Arevalo.
