Toasting tea cups with Princess Elsa

Mountain Lake ‘Christmas in the Park’ fund-raiser is this Saturday

Sisters Cassie Harder and Brittany (Harder) Winters, both of Mountain Lake, who have taken over the production of the annual Mountain Lake “Christmas in the Park,” have announced the first fund-raiser for the event – “Tea with the Princess” – this Saturday, May 24, at Mountain Lake City Park.

The “Trading Post” will open at 9:30 a.m. for themed merchandise and face-painting.

Teatime will be at 10 a.m., and on hand will be Princess Elsa from the movie, “Frozen.” Those attending are encouraged to dress as their favorite princess – or prince. In addition to tea and treats, there will be games and a drawing to win Elsa dolls, a soundtrack CD from the movie, and Elsa tutu – and more. Elsa will be greeting guests – and will be available for photos and autographs.

Tickets can be purchased for $5 each at Mountain Lake Floral, or by calling 507-381-6033. The cost of the ticket includes tea, treats, games and entry into the drawing.

One hundred percent of tickets sales – and sales from the “Trading Post” – will benefit the “Christmas in the Park” fund.
