Park – to parade – and back again – it was all we hoped it would be
Playing off the lyrics to The Mamas & The Papas hit song, “Monday Monday,” Pow Wow’s Monday, Monday was so good to “we.” In fact, moving from Mountain Lake City Park – to the Grande Parade – and back again, it was all we hoped it would be.
Monday’s event rundown was as follows:
+ Food Stands in Mountain Lake City Park fed the hungry multitudes.
+ Commercial Stands in Mountain Lake City Park tended to consumers’ needs.
+ Midway (Midwest Rides) were rolling, spinning, bouncing and flying in Mountain Lake City Park.
+ Grande Parade made its way down the traditional one-mile 3rd Avenue route.
+ Groove Inc., a percussion academy located in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and The Wendinger Band performed at the Mountain Lake City Park Bandstand after taking part in the parade.
