Funeral services for 87-year-old Delores Forseth of LaSalle, Minnesota, will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday morning, April 19, 2017, at LaSalle Lutheran Church. The church is located at 100 2nd Avenue South.
Interment will be in Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Visitation will be at the church the day of the funeral service from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Delores Mae Forseth was born on November 8, 1929 in Pocahontas, Iowa, the daughter of Henry and Hermenia (Aden) Menssen. She grew up and graduated from Butterfield High School in 1947.
On June 11, 1950, Delores was united in marriage to Reynold Forseth at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church in Butterfield. She worked at the Graves Clothing Store in St. James, was a bookkeeper for her husband at the Forseth Standard Oil Company and was a homemaker.
She was a member of LaSalle Lutheran Church where she was treasurer and active in the Ladies Aid and she was also a member of the Godahl Kitchen Band. Delores enjoyed cooking, canning, sewing, fishing, camping and traveling, especially to Arizona.
Survivors include her daughters, Patti (Gary) Schmiesing of Backus, Minnesota, Kathy (Steve) Reinsvold of Rochester, Minnesota and Colleen Forseth and special friend, Terry Johnson of LaSalle; son-in-law, Charlie Barrows of Ham Lake, Minnesota; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; brothers, Francis “Fritz” (Janet) Menssen of Lodi, Ohio, Merle “Buck” (Darla) Menssen of Butterfield and sisters-in-law, Lee Menssen of White Bear Lake, Minnesota and Judy Menssen of Albert Lea, Minnesota.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Reynold,\; daughter, Julie Barrows; grandsons, Eric Reinsvold and Paul Fisher; granddaughter, Dana Johnson; brothers, Harold Menssen and Allen Menssen and sisters, Beverly Evan and Martha Jacobsen.
