W/ML Cobra wrestlers hold end-of-season banquet

Twelve awards presented to varsity, junior varsity wrestlers

 

 

The Windom/Mountain Lake (W/ML) Cobra wrestling team and their families celebrated the 2016-2017 season with a season-ending banquet in the Mountain Lake Public School cafeteria on Tuesday, March 21.

A plethora of awards were presented:

Varsity Awards

+ Most Takedowns – Brett Willaby

+ Most Falls – Jabari Carlton

+ Most Improved – Kade Sammons

+ Rookie of the Year – Jabari Carlton

+ Wade Grams Memorial Award – Yanick Tade

+ Hard Worker – Evan Wiens

+ Coach’s Award – Jacob Suess

+ Most Valuable – Brett Willaby  and Alex Borsgard

Junior Varsity Awards

+ Most Takedowns and Most Valuable – Trenton Renquist.

+ Most Falls – Thavien Xayachak
