Wolverine football play-off game postponed to Wednesday

TONIGHT’S (TUESDAY, OCTOBER 25) Section 3 9-Man football play-off game at Munson Field in Mountain Lake, pitting the 5-3 Mountain Lake Area (MLA) Wolverine football squad against Westbrook/Walnut Grove (WWG) (3-5), has been postponed due to thunder, lightning and rain. The game will be played tomorrow (Wednesday, October 26), with kick-off at 5 p.m. at Munson Field. MLA was seeded third in the section, with WWG the #6-seed. The winner of the game will most likely face the #2-seed, Hills/Beaver Creek. The Patriots were leading Granada/Huntley/East Chain-Truman 35-0 in the second quarter a half hour ago.
