Susan Goodemote now on clinic’s staff
“The patient comes first.I will listen to their concerns and wishes and respect their choices regarding their care.I must consider the entire patient, not just their physical well-being, but also their spiritual concerns and their social concerns.”
That is the philosophy of care held by Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP) Susan Goodemote, the newest staff member of Sanford Health-Mountain Lake Clinic. While the clinic in Mountain Lake will be Goodemote’s primary practice location, she will also serve Sanford Health-Windom Clinic.
She received her Masters of Nursing degree from Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri this past August 27. Her undergraduate studies were at the University of St. Mary, Leavenworth, Kansas. All of her clinical rotations were done at Sanford Health with Dr. Yusuf-Windom and others with Dr. Kopperud-Westbrook. She is board-certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (A.A.N.P). Her specialty is family medicine.
Goodemote has two children, Bradley and Rosalynn. She loves gardening, farming and being outside. Additionally, she loves to travel and visit her kids whenever she can.
Goodemote joins the local Sanford Health clinic as longtime CNP, Karen Uecker-Bezdicek announces she is scaling back her health care services to an “as needed” basis.
