Donald Kuhlman retiring at the end of the year
After 31 years, Watonwan County Auditor/Treasurer Donald Kuhlman is retiring. Today (Tuesday, December 26) he began the first day of his last week in the post.
His resignation becomes final at the end of 2017.
Friday, December 29 has been declared “Donald Kuhlman Day” in Watonwan County.
Replacing Kuhlman as Watonwan County Auditor will be Kelly Pauling, effective January 1.
As Kuhlman was also Personnel Director of the Watonwan County Board of Commissioners, that position also needed to be filled. Selected was Lisa Schumann, also effective January 1. In addition, Schumann continue to act as Administrative Assistant for the board.
