Krazy Daze 2017 in Mountain Lake to run three days
The Mountain Lake Area Chamber of Commerce announces that Krazy Daze 2017 will run for three days this month, under the theme, “Koo Koo for Mountain Lake!” Krazy Daze will be Thursday, July 20; Friday, July 21 and Saturday, July 22.
Promotional activities will include:
+ Thursday, July 20 – Dress-Up Day! (with Costume Contest)
- Participating businesses are encouraged to have employees (and employers) clad in crazy costumes. In each business will be a location at which to vote on a favorite worker’s costume. The worker who garners the most votes wins $50 in Chamber Bucks.
- Maynard’s Foods and Peterson Thrifty White Drug and Gifts will be serving food in their joint parking lot. Stay tuned for menu items.
+ Friday July 21 – Music in the Park!
- From 12 noon to 1 p.m., there will be special musical entertainment in Mountain Lake City Park. Sack lunches will be available for purchase from Maynard’s Foods and Sweetfields.
+ Saturday, July 22 – Shopping in the Park!
- Direct Sales Vendors, Crafters and Farmer’s Market Participants will have their wares on sale in Mountain Lake City Park.
