Tuesday’s Talent Show contest shifts to an area Talent Showcase
Julie Brugman, Pow Wow Talent Show Coordinator, along with the Mountain Lake Area Chamber of Commerce, announced today (Tuesday, June 14) that the Pow Wow Talent Show contest, slated for Tuesday night, June 21, has shifted its focus to that of an area Talent Showcase.
Local performers (from any locality) will have the opportunity to go onstage in front of the crowd on the Mountain Lake City Park Bandstand, beginning at 7:30 p.m. – and strut their stuff (or whatever their talents might be), in a type of “open mic” performance night.
Those interested in performing should show up Tuesday evening at about 7 p.m., in front of the city park’s bandstand – and bring whatever instrument, music -whatever – needed for your performance. Welcomed will be church music/praise teams, dance with partner or groups, jazz band, etc. No one will be turned away!
