Bryan, Neil bring dance pop program for kids to Mountain Lake
Kids and adults alike were hoppin’ with Koo Koo Kanga Roo on the gym floor tonight.
Bryan and Neil of Minneapolis – known better as Koo Koo Kanga Roo – brought their hyper-active dance pop program for kids to Mountain Lake this evening (Tuesday, May 10), performing and partying in the Mountain Lake Public School auditorium/gymnasium in a free concert.
Koo Koo Kanga Roo’s live show is unlike anything ever experienced. A Koo Koo Kanga Roo party is a family fun dance extravaganza for all ages. The undeniable urge to move, carried by the catchy pop melodies and infectious dance beats, led the crowd like a Pied Piper to the gym floor – transforming it into a dance floor. The duo jam-packed there time in Mountain Lake with zany sing-a-longs and choreographed group dancing.
After appearing in Mountain Lake, Koo Koo Kanga Roo will be heading out to do a several city tour across the United States this summer.
A group of teachers at Mountain Lake Public Elementary School use the pair’s GoNoodle videos – brain breaks designed to get kids moving and feeling awesome each schoolday morning. Additionally, Bryan and Neil have available dozens more brain break videos and games kids can play at school or home.
This event was funded by the Mountain Lake Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE), in part or in whole with money from the Minnesota’s Art and Cultural Heritage Fund and the Mountain Lake Early Childhood Initiative (ECI) in partnership with the Southwest Initiative Foundation.
