NO, AMY REGIER isn’t going on a long trip – at least not right now. But, she did find a couple suitcases for deal at 10th Street Pickers. Sharron Hanson, left, sends Amy, right, off with a happy send-off. Why suitcases? According to crafty Amy, the two will soon be adorned up with some of her stencil work, perfect treasures for home decorating.
AT SWEET FIELDS, the 10 centerpieces of fresh flowers accenting the tables for the Ladies Night Out meal were created by Marilyn Stoesz of The Matchless Gift. They were raffled off at the end of the event to 10 lucky ladies.
SUE GARLOFF, LEFT, of Maynard’s Foods and Joyce Bucklin, right, of Sweet Fields and Care & Share/10,000 Villages, work to lay out the spread for the ladies to savor in the Sweet Fields dining area.

The dinner repast included: from Maynard’s Foods – turkey or ham sandwiches, a veggie tray and a take-along treat of Pop’d Kerns; from Jubilee Market and Peaemeals – bruschetta topped with a beet spread or a goat cheese spread and radish slice, along with hummus as a dip for the veggies, as well as tortilla chips; from King Egg Roll – spring rolls with peanut sauce and from Sweet Fields – fruit pizza and strawberry or pineapple smoothies.
JENNIFER SHOUSE-KLASSEN of JSK Bridal served a hostess for the style show. The seven models from Mountain Lake Public High School and Mountain Lake Christian, presented three different types of apparel – all of which were selected by the young women themselves. On their first walk down the runway, the models were dressed in casual clothes from Care & Share. Their second run-through featured prom dresses from JSK Bridal. And, for their final presentation, bridal gowns from JSK Bridal. Above, Melissa Lohrenz and the outfit she selected from Care & Share.
