MLHS juniors, seniors celebrate with prom, after-prom
It was a magical, mystical “Midnight Masquerade” kind of night for the juniors and seniors of Mountain Lake Public High School (MLHS) – and their guests – at the traditional school year-ending celebration, an optional activity for the students.
The evening began with the Grand March in the school’s auditorium,, with sophomores Jae Faber and Weston Osland serving as Mistress and Master of Ceremonies. The introductory march was followed by the prom in the old gym. Prom events included a dinner, hypnotist entertainment and a dance. Events then shifted to the WOW! Zone in Mankato for the after-prom. Charter buses transported the attendees to-and-from that late-night-to-early-morning party.
