The Mountain Lake Area (MLA) Varsity Wolverines prepped for the playoffs with a win on-the-road over the Ellsworth Panthers to close out the regular season.

The squad swept the host in three games, winning 25-21, 25-13 and 26-24.

Head Coach Cheri Hanson’s team, the #8-seed in Section 2A South, will now host #9-seed Janesville/Waldorf/Pemberton (JWP) in a postseason pigtail round match next Tuesday, October 27; first serve at 7 p.m.
