Chapter earns ribbons of purple and blue, accented by trophies of gold
Members of the Mountain Lake Area FFA Chapter recently participated in the competitive shows of the 2015 Cottonwood County Fair. The members exhibited their projects and/or animals for judging in the Agricultural Mechanics Show, Horticulture Show, Crops Show, Beef Cattle Show, Swine Show, Sheep Show and the Goat Show.
Many of those participants left the event, held at the fairgrounds in Windom, earning ribbons of purple and blue, accented by trophies of gold.
FFA Advisors include Tom Appel, Lindsey Brown and Stephen Funk.

+ A Butterfield-Odin Public High School student, Seth Pierson, a member of the St. James FFA Chapter, received a Reserve Grand Champion, Dairy, in the Dairy Cattle Show portion of the Cottonwood County Fair FFA Livestock Show.
