Fall Fling fundraiser this Saturday in support of Christmas in the Park
The leaves on the trees are still in the midst of changing colors from green-to-red-to-orange-to yellow, but that does not mean it isn’t too early to be thinking of Christmas – especially of lighting up Mountain Lake City Park with holiday hues.
The Christmas in the Park committee – Cassondra Harder, Brittany Winters, Rachel Potter and Emily Adrian – will be holding a Fall Fling community fundraiser in City Park this Saturday morning, October 18, running from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Coffee or hot cocoa – and fresh baked muffins from the kitchens of several talented bakers in the community – will be served.
Additional attractions will be live music by Janice Klassen, mini photo sessions by Kay Gohr of Capture Memories and activities for all ages, including craft projects, such as pumpkin painting.
All ages are welcome. Come and enjoy time with friends and neighbors and support Christmas in the Park.
