IT WILL BE smoother sailing for vehicles and their occupants driving over the 7th Street railroad tracks in Mountain Lake. The Union Pacific Railroad began repairing that crossing on Thursday morning, October 2 – continuing despite the all-day rain – and will finish sometime on Friday, October 3. It was hoped the crossing would only be closed on October 2. The Mountain Lake Street Department assisted by setting up and removing barricades.
