KEYC-TV reports suspect-at-large – Update

A report on keyc.com shares that a suspect is at-large after fleeing from law enforcement in Darfur earlier this morning, Thursday, October 30.

The release on KEYC News reports that the Watonwan County Sheriff’s Office notes that the incident began with a report of a suspicious person in Darfur at approximately 7:15 a.m. this morning.

When a sheriff’s deputy arrived in Darfur, a vehicle that matched the description in the report fled, the car crashing into a utility shed in the town. The driver then fled on foot and is still-at-large.

Law enforcement authorities identified the person-of-interest to be Joseph Ryan Dickie, whose last known address was in the Eagle Lake area. The Minnesota Department of Corrections offender locator states that Dickie’s date-of-birth is 10/17/77. He has been wanted as a fugitive since 7/24/14.

Anyone with any information on this incident is asked to contact law enforcement.
