
According to a post on keyc.com by KEYC-TV weekend news anchor Joseph Runck, a man who was the subject of a search in the Darfur area was taken into custody earlier today, Friday, October 31.
The Watonwan County Sheriff’s Office began the search for 37-year-old Joseph Dickie, whose last known address was Eagle Lake, after a suspicious-person report early yesterday morning, Thursday, October 30 in Darfur.
When a sheriff’s office deputy arrived, a car matching the description fled, later crashing into a utility shed. The driver of the vehicle then fled on foot.
Authorities say Dickie has an outstanding warrant related to methamphetamine.
