‘Pajama Sunday’ at First Mennonite

The second-annual “Pajama Sunday” will be held this Sunday, April 27, beginning at 9 a.m. (updated start time), at First Mennonite Church in Mountain Lake, located at 305 North 7th Street North (the corner of 3rd Avenue and 7th Street). The event, which opens in the basement fellowship hall with a light breakfast (while clad still in “p.j.s” or other comfortable clothing) will kick off “Holy Humor Week.” Those attending are asked to enter through the northwest entry by the parking lot. All are welcome.

Why hold a “Pajama Sunday?”

There are six reasons:

* If you have ever thought deciding what to wear or getting ready to go out was drudgery.

* If you have ever just wanted to think more about God and fellowship and less about your appearance.

* If you want to bring a little silly playfulness into your life.

* If getting all the kids ready AGAIN is more than you can face.

* If wearing scratchy, itchy clothes fouls your mood.

* If you have ever groggily thought, “Am I there yet?”

That’s why!
