I hope you have surfed through the links and articles on this site. We are taking our first steps in providing this free service to anyone with internet accessibility.
Cross-Counties Connect (www.cross-countiesconnect.com) – an internet area news source – was created to share articles of news, current events, inspiration, achievement, human interest and social issues from the corner of southwest Minnesota that ties together parts of Cottonwood, Watonwan, Jackson, Martin and Brown Counties.
The focus is on the communities of Mountain Lake, Butterfield, Odin, Ormsby, Delft, Bingham Lake, Darfur and Comfrey and points between – but will also expand places beyond that have a connection to the area.
As you can see, there are links to area news +, the local schools, the faith community, life events (engagements, weddings, births and newsmakers), obituaries and sports shorts that will feature engaging stories about in individual or team/group athletes involved in any type of sporting activity. Publishing of articles is a free service.
